Terms of Service

CaringSOPs provides AI-assisted generation, storage, and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for home care and assisted living agencies, along with caregiver management, digital sign-offs, and document sharing tools. The service is operated by CaringSOPs and is accessible at caringsops.com.

New accounts include a 7-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access to SOP generation will be restricted until you subscribe to a paid plan. SOPs you created during the trial remain accessible.

CaringSOPs offers the following paid plans, billed monthly:

• Starter ($49/month): 10 SOPs per month, up to 10 caregivers, PDF export, staff portal.
• Growth ($99/month): Unlimited SOPs, up to 25 caregivers, digital sign-offs, version history, family portal.
• Pro ($199/month): Unlimited SOPs, unlimited caregivers, residents module, analytics dashboard.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans & Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

You retain ownership of the SOPs and other content you create using CaringSOPs. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.

SOP titles and descriptions you enter are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your SOPs. Please do not include confidential information you would not want processed by a third-party AI service.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occasionally affect access. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaringSOPs is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
